A scintillating romantic adventure: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Wine Pairing: The 2015 Viognier or the 2013 Row Series Teroldego
Once you dive into this engrossing tale of time travel, war, romance, betrayal, adventure and the palpable and unstoppable course of history, it will be impossible not to devour the entire 7, no wait, 8 novels in the series! The Viognier is a rich, fanciful and distinguished start to the story. The Row Series Teroldego suits the darker, heavier moments and pairs remarkably well with the romantic scenes too.

Part Grumpy Old Men and part Up, this book will have you cheering for a surprisingly endearing character and the power of the community as a source of family. A contemporary mystery thriller: The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
Wine Pairing: 2013 Nebbiolo
This novel starts out as foggy glimpse into Rachel's seemingly reckless and hopeless life centered on her strangely obsessive commute to work. It soon spirals out of control as we learn more about her past, her faults, and a very disconcerting secret that may be a clue to a high profile missing person's case. The Nebbiolo suits this fascinating tale full of deep uncertainty and mystery.

The Inspirational Reinvention: Wild by Cheryl Strayed
Wine Pairing: 2015 Chenin Blanc
The crisp air of the mountains, the damp aroma of the morning forest dew and the fleeting warmth of the setting sun are each as eye-opening and refreshing as our crisp Chenin Blanc. Plus you'll need it to cool off during the revealing emotional turmoil and the desert scenes. A definite must-read for those looking to reinvent themselves without sore feet and sunburns.
